Swedish Massage
Swedish massage is defined by the basic strokes of which it is composed: effleurage (stroking), petrissage (kneading), tapotement (striking), frictions and vibration.
Today massage is widely used on all sorts of people in a wide variety of settings - from baby massage to sports therapy massage to holistic cancer care to aromatherapy spa treatment and all those in between.
On this two day course you will learn a routine which can be adapted for a wide range of uses and clients.
*Please note:
A Diploma in Anatomy & Physiology (or equivalent eg Nursing or Physiotherapy qualification or previous massage or beauty qualification such as Aromatherapy) is a pre-requisite for this course (We are able to provide details of a home study A & P Diploma course costing £125)
