GROUPS/WORKSHOPS

  • Places are sold on a first come, first paid basis, and cannot be reserved without payment. 

  • When you book for an event online, you will be required to make a payment before your place is confirmed. 

  • For those events that require a deposit only, the balance will be required prior to the event. If the balance is not paid by the required time, your place will be forfeited, deposit lost, and the space made available for those, if any, on the waiting list first, and then put back on general sale. You will receive a reminder email giving you no less than 7 days to clear the balance in time for the appropriate cancellation policy.
    Technology is not always 100% reliable, so we ask that you make note to contact us to make the final payment, and ensure you contact us if you have not received the balance request email. 
    Should your place be put back up for general sale, you will receive a notification by email.

  • For those events that require payment in full at time of booking, our standard 7 day event cancellation policy will apply, unless otherwise stated.

  • Once booked and paid for, you will receive an email confirmation of your place. Any reminders for payment will be sent in due course, and then a reminder email for you to attend may be sent 3 days prior to the event, subject to balances being cleared. 

  • Should you wish to make payment for your place by Bank Transfer (BACS) or cash, please call us or email kat@my-serenity.co.uk to book. Online booking does not offer these facilities as payment options.

    Telephone - call 07828 882798 to make a payment by credit/debit card over the phone, though we will use the same payment gateway, Paypal.
    Paypal - make payments to kat@my-serenity.co.uk. You will need to contact us prior to making payment to ensure there is a place available to reserve.
    Bank Transfer (BACS) - use sort code 54-30-34, account number 38046032, account name My Serenity and use your name as a reference so we can allocate the funds to your account.

    PLEASE NOTE: Online payments are processed by Paypal. You do not need to have a Paypal account to use this gateway. You can pay as a guest when taken to the appropriate screen. Card details are not stored by Serenity, so if you wish to store them for future purchases with us, you will need to create an account with Paypal. 
    *** Please note that our checkout does not always offer the option of guest checkout with tablets, ipads and mobile phones.  If you do not wish to sign up to Paypal and have no access to a desktop computer, please call us. We can email you an invoice to pay online if you would rather not provide card details over the phone. Your security is extremely important to us, and your payment preferences are of the utmost importance to us.

  • We do not accept cheques.

  • Gift vouchers cannot be used to pay for events unless explicitly specified on the voucher. 

  • Please see individual event listing for cancellation policy.
    For workshops that are run over several sessions, the cancellation period applies to the beginning of the course.
    Missed classes are not eligible for refund.

READINGS

  • Gift vouchers cannot be used to pay for readings.

  • Payment in full is required to secure an appointment for a reading, unless otherwise stated.

  • 48 hour cancellation policy applies to readings.

  • Serenity only take bookings for readings provided at Serenity, Guisborough. We are not able to take bookings for our readers at other venues. Please contact them directly.

YOGA

  • Serenity only provide class details for yoga classes by Emma Live Yoga.

  • Bookings and payment are to be made directly to Emma using the contact details on the web listing.

  • Serenity make no claims of availability for yoga classes or yoga workshops. All bookings/payment arrangements are to be organised directly with Emma.

CANCELLATION POLICIES

Regardless of the type of booking you're making with Serenity, deposits are fully refundable and transferable providing the relevant cancellation policy has been adhered to.​ See above, or the event listing, for which cancellation policy applies. Conditions for each policy are in full below.

48 hour Cancellation Policy

  • If you cancel with at least 48 hours notice before your appointment time, we will be happy to refund your deposit in full, or transfer it to another date that is more convenient for you.

  • Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice mean that any deposits or balances paid will unfortunately be non-refundable and non-transferable, at the discretion of management.

7 day Cancellation Policy

  • If you cancel with at least 7 days notice before your appointment time, we will be happy to refund your deposit/full balance, in full, or transfer it to another date that is more convenient for you.

  • Cancellations made with less than 7 days notice mean that any deposits or balances paid will unfortunately be non-refundable and non-transferable, at the discretion of management.

14 day Cancellation Policy

  • If you cancel with at least 14 days notice before your appointment time, we will be happy to refund your deposit/full balance, in full, or transfer it to another date that is more convenient for you.

  • Cancellations made with less than 14 days notice mean that any deposits or balances paid will unfortunately be non-refundable and non-transferable, at the discretion of management.

  • For courses that run over several sessions, the cancellation period applies to the first class date. Missed classes will not be eligible for a refund.
