Booking your course

  • You can book a training course by telephone, email, through Facebook, or by clicking the link in the listing details on our website's event schedule. Arrangements to speak to us personally can be made by calling us on 07828 882798.

  • The date you do your course can be one that is already advertised on the website or on Facebook, or we can arrange to train on a day to suit you. If there are no dates advertised on our Events page, we are booking by demand. Do get in touch!

  • A date/place will only be secure once a deposit is made. Until that time places can be sold to other students or the date cancelled with no notice given to you.

  • Our deposits are generally 50% of the total course cost, however, courses with fees of £200 or more can be paid in installments. The deposit required will be stated on our website or agreed with you in person.

  • Balances must be paid at least 14 days before the training date, as this is our latest cancellation date. If you fail to pay the balance by that time your place may be sold or the date cancelled. You will be given a notice by email or telephone when the balance is due. 

  • To confirm a place on Reflexology, Aromatherapy, or Swedish Massage, evidence of a qualification in A&P (or equivalent) must be produced at the time of booking. Alternatively, proof of registration on an accredited A&P course must be submitted. Your course certificate will be released once you have completed the necessary pre-requisites. 

  • When purchasing an Holistic Training Package, you are committing to completing a number of courses. Dates for which can be booked in advance when paying in full for your package. Training must be completed, including assessments within 2 years, so it's useful to plan ahead.

Paying for your course


  • You can pay a deposit for your course immediately by using the Book Now link in the event listing on our event schedule.

  • Should you wish to make payment for your training (deposit or full balance) by Bank Transfer (BACS) or cash, please call us or email kat@my-serenity.co.uk to book. Online booking does not offer the facility to pay in full for your course.

    Telephone - call 07828 882798 to make a payment by credit/debit card over the phone. Our payment gateway is either Square or iZettle.
    Paypal - make payments to kat@my-serenity.co.uk . You will need to contact us prior to making payment to ensure there is a place available to reserve.
    Bank Transfer (BACS) - use sort code 40-47-64, account number 98792062, account name J. Wills and use your name as a reference so we can allocate the funds to your account.

    Online payments are processed by Square or Paypal. You do not need to have a Paypal account to use this gateway. You can pay as a guest when taken to the appropriate screen. Card details are not stored by Serenity, so if you wish to store them for future purchases with us, you will need to create an account with Paypal. 
    *** Please note that our checkout does not always offer the option of guest checkout with tablets, ipads and mobile phones.  If you do not wish to sign up to Paypal and have no access to a compatible device, please call us. We can email you an invoice to pay online if you would rather not provide card details over the phone. Your security is extremely important to us, and your payment preferences are of the utmost importance to us.

  • We do not accept cheques.

  • When registering interest in booking a course, you will receive an email with all the ways to pay.

  • When purchasing an Holistic Training Package, you can buy online at full price only. Installments are to be arranged via telephone or email, and a copy of the arrangement to pay will be sent via email for your records. You will not receive your qualifications until your courses are paid in full. Training dates will be arranged around the installments to ensure we have received payment to date for the courses being provided.


  • Deposits for training courses and workshops are non-refundable. They are also non-transferable (unless agreed at the discretion of the manager). If you are unable to attend your course your deposit will not be returned to you.

  • A 7 day cancellation policy applies to assessment deposits within 12 months of the first day of training.

  • A £10 charge is made for assessments made beyond the 12 months of the first day of training. This charge is non-refundable and non-transferable.

  • When purchasing an Holistic Training Package, and choosing to pay by installments, a non-refundable deposit of £100 is required to activate the purchase.


Training courses have a 14 day cancellation policy in place.

  • Courses paid in full but cancelled with more than 14 days notice will be refunded minus the deposit.

  • Courses paid in full but cancelled with less than 14 days notice will receive no refund.

  • Courses that are part of an Holistic Training Package can be rescheduled if a minimum 14 days notice is given, as per our cancellation policy. No refunds are given for course dates cancelled with less than 14 days notice, or missed. 

  • Assessment deposits are refundable when 7 days notice of cancellation is given.

  • Assessment deposits are non-refundable when less than 7 days notice of cancellation is given.

  • Assessment charges are non-refundable beyond the 12th month of the first day of training.

Confirmation of your course date


  • Once the final balance for your course has been paid, you will receive a final confirmation of your attendance and further details you may find useful when attending Serenity. Information such as parking, lunch facilities, what to wear, start and finish times etc.

    This information will be emailed no less than 7 days before your training date. If you have not received this information please let us know so we can resend it. 

Digitally downloaded courses


  • Our Anatomy & Physiology course is an online course that you complete at SerenityTherapies.VIPMemberVault.com.

  • Online courses have no time limit for completion. 

  • Online courses are non-refundable. Our content has a value that can be accessed immediately upon purchase. As the content cannot be guaranteed to be removed from your pc/laptop/tablet/smartphone, and hard copies can be created, our product has been provided and the transaction complete.

  • All content within online courses remains the property of Serenity, and is therefore not allowed to be reproduced in any form for anything other than personal use.


  • All our courses are accredited by The Guild of Holistic Therapists.

  • Following completion of your course, you will receive a certificate. This will allow you to gain insurance to practice the therapy you are trained in.

  • It is the responsibility of the student to check with their current insurer that the course will be accepted for insurance purposes, prior to enrolling.

Professional standards

  • Serenity Holistic Training teaches its courses to a high standard and reserves the right to withhold certification until it feels a student has reached standards set and discussed during the training. Should a student not meet those standards after the first assessment, a reassessment can be booked. No extra charge will be made for this, though a refundable £10 deposit will be required. A 7 day cancellation policy applies to assessment deposits.
    We will happily reassess students multiple times until we feel that they have reached the required standards of competence.

  • A deposit of £10 may be required to secure an assessment date. This is fully refunded when attending the agreed date. Should a student not attend, the deposit will be kept to cover our costs. Should a deposit not be paid at the time of booking an assessment, and a late cancellation occurs, a fixed fee of £10 will be charged for future assessment bookings will be made. This is non-refundable. Assessment deposits are applicable for pre-assessment sessions also.

  • The training on each course is valid for 12 months from the first day of training. A final assessment should ideally be completed within that time if required by the course. Should a student be unable to pass the assessment within 12 months, refreshers on training may be required, at a cost of £20 per hour. 

  • Assessments booked after the 12 months validity of the training, will incur a non-refundable £10 charge.

Attending the course

  • Students will be expected to turn up 10 minutes before the commencement of the course. This is to ensure you have time to familiarise yourself with your surroundings, discuss any concerns and grab a drink!

  • Students are expected to be dressed appropriately, according to the information sent before the course date by email. 

  • Finishing times will already have been agreed and you will be expected to stay until that time unless otherwise discussed prior to the training day.


Serenity Holistic Training accepts no liability for injury or loss to person or property throughout training. Serenity Holistic Training accepts no responsibility for damage caused by you to another person after you have received your training.
